band", which featured Yeah Yeah Yeahs ' Nick Zinner and
Brian Chase, TV On The Radio 's Jaleel Bunton and the
producer Money Mark.
Earlier this year, Arcade Fire held a tribute parade for the
late Bowie in New Orleans.
The procession marched through the city performing The
Thin White Duke's most famous songs, effectively shutting
down entire streets of the city.
Bowie and the Montreal rockers worked together frequently
in the last years of his life. The Brixton-born singer first
joined Win Butler and co on stage at a Fashion Rocks
concert in 2005 for a rendition of 'Wake Up', from their
debut album 'Funeral'. The performance turned out to be
the 27 studio album veteran's penultimate live show. Later
in 2013 Bowie sang a guest vocal on the title song of their
most recent album 'Reflektor'.
